I was approached by two former Netball super league players Becky and Gemma to help create a logo for their new netball coaching venture. They recruit current and former England international players to run specialist coaching opportunities for young promising netball talent – giving them a platform to improve their skills and develop into the next generation of netball stars.

The brief was to create an athletic, unique logo with a hint of ‘eliteness’. Whilst taking inspiration from sports brands that embody energy, excitement and confidence.

The final execution included a varying weight of font moving from thin to bold helping create a sense of movement and within the final ‘N’ a player shooting towards the net. 

Alongside the logo a tag line was created to easily explain the vision of NGN Netball – ‘Coaching for the next generation of netball stars’.

I also helped them to develop visual assets, and I have explored merchandising opportunities using what I created.
