Glasgow’s Helping Heroes is a charitable organisation helping local veterans access assistance across a variety of areas including housing, employment and health.

With the organisation working increasingly with other partners they needed a new logo to elevate their status. The current logo was too juvenile and reminiscent of branding you would see for a video game.

For my solution for the re-design was to simplify the the type completely within the logo and making the design far less brash. I retained the the medal idea to keep the subtle nod towards the military but in a much more elegant way – a slight move down with the ‘O’ and three colour lines to depict the three Armed Forces.

I have also worked on other design projects for them including out of home advertising within the Glasgow area.
